Dudley Carers Hub & Wellbeing Service Preparing for Adulthood – Understanding Court of Protection
On Wednesday 13th November 2024, 10am – 12.30pm, a workshop on Understanding Court of Protection for parent carers of young people aged 14 – 25 years will be taking place at Brett Young Carers Hub, Old Hawne Lane, Halesowen, B63 3TB.
The session will provide an overview of
• what the Court of Protection is, its role and what it can do
• the law that applies to the Court of Protection including the Mental Capacity Act
• when Court of Protection may apply
The workshop will be delivered by Dudley Disability Service; places are limited and need to be booked.
