Work experience placements, job shadowing opportunities and workplace visits provide students with the chance to be exposed to and learn about real workplaces.
At Halesbury, we aim to provide our young people with a range of meaningful workplace experiences to help them to develop the skills, qualities and attitudes needed for the world of work.
Work experience placements are highly personalised in terms of duration, location and level of support as we aim to organise experiences that reflect students’ strengths, interests and abilities.
During work experience placements, pupils will be provided with workbooks and certificates that allow them to document their experiences. Examples of work experience log books can be downloaded below:
