HHSA Update

This week many of our classes are going on trips funded by the HHSA. Years 6, 7, 8 and 9 have had lots of fun at Inflatanation and enjoying a McDonalds, Rainbow have had an amazing time at Sycamore and Purple Class have enjoyed a day at Ash End Farm!

It's so lovely to see all our pupils being able to have an extra treat and new experiences.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to Mrs Crowdy and Mr Young. Since the pandemic hit many families had changing circumstances and commitments and due to our limitations in school this meant that the HHSA was left running on a skeleton team. Mrs Crowdy has worked day and night alongside running her own business to make all the things the HHSA have done this year happen from Easter eggs to Christmas parties to planning trips! It's not been easy between school closures, isolations and everything else this year has bought but she has been determined to ensure each and everyone of our pupils have had these special treats!

Mr Young has continued his role as treasurer and supported us to keep our finances in order, ensuring everything has run smoothly financially, especially this last half term, receiving numerous email requests every week and dealing with them so efficiently despite his own commitments!

Thank you both from me, the Halesbury staff team and all of our pupils!

In September we are hoping to get the HHSA up and running again and rebuild a team to start fundraising again for future experiences for our pupils, more information will be sent out in September!
