During this half term, Pathway 2 have been doing netball training led by Sally Bromley, the Sponsorship Engagement Officer at Paycare and Head Coach of the Invictus 6th Form Netball Academy. After finishing the last session on Wednesday 1st December, Sally wrote the text below:
I have spent six weeks this term, being privileged enough to work in partnership with Halesbury Special School in Halesowen, coaching a class of youngsters in Netball as part of our community work with Paycare. What an amazing group of kids, all so excited to learn and develop new skills. We finished off our sessions yesterday with a mini game to show off their newly acquired skills. I'm not sure who has enjoyed these sessions the most, me, the kids or their class teacher Mr Allsop. Complete respect for the teaching staff and support staff that work and help these youngsters every day. They do an incredible job. Looking forward to starting some more sessions after Christmas. Such rewarding work. Invictus Education Trust #paranetball #coaching #community #netball #netballforall #parasport
Thank you to Sally from everyone at Halesbury, especially the pupils and staff in Pathway 2.
