Ordinarily Available Inclusive Provision Guidance
We are very excited to share the ‘Final’ version of Dudley’s Ordinarily Available Inclusive Provision (OAIP) guidance.
This is the culmination of a significant amount of work and input from colleagues from various services and settings and parents and carers. Many thanks to all of those people who have been involved in shaping this document, through their feedback and involvement in various workstreams.
This document contains a wealth of ideas, strategies and interventions to help support Dudley children and young people who may have additional needs. It contains links to resources and training both from local services and from National providers. It is hoped that it will promote confidence and knowledge within our workforce which will lead to a greater consistency in the support our children and young people receive.
It is intended to be used by all stakeholders who work with and support children and young people, including parents and practitioners. Copies are being shared with all stakeholders and will also be available on the Local Offer, Revolution and the SENCo SharePoint. Please share with anyone who may find it beneficial.
This is Dudley’s ‘fledgling’ OAIP framework which, through continued feedback from it’s users, will ‘grow and evolve’. By offering your feedback and comments we will be able to develop and shape this guidance to become a shared document that is widely used and valued. Feedback forms have been developed which will enable you to have your say and contribute to its continued development. These can be accessed at https://forms.office.com/e/hL9XWZcm99
There are also planned ‘surgeries’ and ‘drop-in’ sessions to support users. Dates and details to follow shortly.
