On the morning of Wednesday 6th December, we were delighted to welcome back into school, Loudmouth Theatre Education Company.
As part of Anti-Bullying week Loudmouth delivered the PSHE performance ‘Bully4U’ to our Pathway 1 and 2 classes.
The aim of ‘Bully4U’ is to make young people aware of what bullying is, how to get help, and the responsibilities of bystanders to report bullying to an adult.
This also focused on the different types of bullying (including cyberbullying) and the impact bullying has. This included online risks and behaviours, including online bullying, and how to report, or find support.
Following the performance pupils participated in small group workshops, where they were able to explore and discuss issues relating to what they had seen. The workshop provided an opportunity for pupils to think about the different types of bullying they had seen, as well as raising their awareness.
