Children’s Mental Health Week is organised by the Place2Be charity and is taking place from Feb 5th-11th 2024. This year’s theme is ‘My Voice Matters’ to empower young people to use their voices, share what matters to them, and encourage those around them to hear their voices.
Place2Be is a children’s mental health charity that provides counselling and mental health support and training in UK schools. Halesbury are proud to take part in this campaign and support our young people in focusing on their mental health and wellbeing. Pupils will be taking part in a range of appropriate sessions during Children’s Mental Health Week such as yoga, mindfulness, relaxation and arts related activities, alongside other mental wellbeing based activities. Please talk about this important subject with your child and have a look at the Children’s Mental Health Week website where there is information for parents and carers: https://www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk/families/#resources
We hope you have a good week and wish you good mental health and happiness!
