Dudley Carers Hub & Wellbeing Service Preparing for Adulthood – Understanding Welfare Rights post 18 Workshop for parent and carers
Wednesday 27th March 2024, 10am – 12.30pm Queens Cross Carers Hub, Queens Cross Network, Wellington Road, Dudley, DY1 1RB
A workshop for parent carers of young people aged 14 – 25 years to find out more about Welfare Rights and Benefits for them and their child post 18.
The session will cover:
- understanding welfare rights and benefits system post 18
- when and how you will need to contact the Dept. Work & Pensions
- how changes may impact the young person and parent carers Parent carers will also be able to learn more about support available to them from Dudley Carers Hub and Wellbeing Service.
The workshop will be delivered by Dudley Disability Service, Dudley Carers Hub and Wellbeing Service and Dudley Welfare Rights Service.
