Please see below the letter sent out to parents and carers regarding the Head Teacher role at the school for the next school year (2024-2025) - you can download the PDF version of the letter HERE.
Dear Parents and Carers,
As you are aware, Mr Kulyk will be leaving Halesbury School at the end of this current academic year. During the past term, the school governors have been conducting a recruitment process for a new Headteacher.
I am now pleased to inform you that Mrs Appleby Payne will take on the role of Interim Headteacher with effect from September 2024. She will be capably supported by Mrs Byrne in the role of Interim Deputy Headteacher. I have every confidence that the wealth of experience and expertise they both possess will provide consistency and stability for Halesbury and will help to drive the school further forwards.
In the meantime, it is not envisaged that you will notice any difference to the day to day running of the school and I would like to reassure you that I will be working closely with Mr Kulyk, Mrs Appleby Payne, and Mrs Byrne to ensure a smooth and successful transition for our pupils, staff and parents. I will of course be keeping you informed of developments as we progress.
Thank you as always for your continued support.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs J Wright
Chair of Governors
